CS2 eDPI Calculator & Sens Converter

Enter your DPI and in-game sensitivity. eDPI, cm/360 and a cross-game conversion update live.

eDPI
cm / 360°
inches / 360°

Convert to another game

Matches your cm/360° (same physical aim) at the DPI above.

How this works: eDPI is simply DPI × in-game sensitivity. cm/360 and inches/360 are derived from CS2’s Source-engine yaw constant (0.022° per count), and cross-game conversions hold that same cm/360 using each game’s yaw — so your physical aim distance stays identical.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate my eDPI in CS2?

Multiply your mouse DPI by your in-game sensitivity. For example, 400 DPI × 2.0 sens gives an eDPI of 800.

What is a good eDPI for CS2?

Most CS2 pros sit between roughly 640 and 900 eDPI (often 400 DPI at low sens). Anything around 800 is a solid, widely used starting point, but the best eDPI is the one you can aim consistently with.

Is eDPI the same as cm/360?

No. eDPI (DPI × sens) compares aim speed across players, while cm/360 is the physical distance you move the mouse for a full turn. They are related but cm/360 also depends on your DPI directly.

How do I convert my CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?

Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by about 0.314 at the same DPI to keep the same cm/360. So CS2 2.0 sens is roughly 0.63 in Valorant.

Does CS2 use the same sensitivity as CS:GO?

Yes. CS2 kept the same sensitivity scale and yaw as CS:GO, so your old sens, eDPI and cm/360 carry over unchanged.

Why do pros use such low eDPI?

Lower eDPI means more arm movement per turn, which generally improves precision and makes holding angles easier. It is a common community recommendation to lower your sens if you are above ~1200 eDPI.
